Our 15-day Kinnaur and Kailash and Lahaul Spiti trip with Desi Journey was an absolutely wonderful experience. I've plannd my family vacation for Durga Pujo 2025 with Desi Journey and I am pleased to share my honest feedback about them. Somanandini Mukherjee (Soma Di), has carefully crafted our tour and itinery for the entire Uttarakhand Trip with utmost care, safety, comfort and convinience keeping it in mind that I'll be traveling with my elderly parents, at the same time making it enjoyable as well as cost effective which actually enhanced our trip experience very satisfactory.
I am verymuch pleased with the way my trip was planned along side during the trip their prompt availibility for answering any queries has just won our hearts. I recently booked a trip with Desi Journey to Badamtam Tea Estate, and it was an amazing experience. The property was truly outstanding—one of the best I’ve seen in the offbeat areas around Darjeeling. The stay was comfortable, the location right within the tea garden was serene, and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thumbs up to Desi Journey! Our Ladakh trip was an unforgettable experience! The landscapes, especially Pangong Lake, were absolutely stunning. The changing colors at sunset were breathtaking. The local culture and hospitality were also fantastic, and we particularly appreciated the help of our Desi Journey sole owner and guide Soma. We did experience some altitude sickness and the roads were rough, but we were prepared for it. Accommodation was too good in all places , it was clean and comfortable. Really we were surprised how she was able to arrange the same .Overall, we would highly recommend a trip to Ladakh, but be sure to take precautions for altitude sickness and prepare for some rough roads.And without any 2nd thought you can arrange your trip with Desi Journey. In 2024, I contacted Soma Nandini Mukherjee through Facebook and traveled to Saranda on a vacation. Right from the beginning, Soma's ever-smiling sincerity captivated me. She always had a watchful eye on us so that we did not have any problems during our trip. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves very much. I realized one thing, Soma himself is a travel nut, and therefore he has combined passion and profession or addiction and profession. That is why, whenever I get the opportunity in the future, I will definitely hold Somanandini's hand and set out towards the unknown.
I found this agency of Somanandini on Facebook. I really liked that a girl has taken a new initiative completely on her own. So I contacted her and went to visit Chattakpur and Dawapani. A short trip. But the sense of responsibility and care that I got during that time is incomparable. I went alone. So she kept an eye on all my facilities. On the last day while visiting Darjeeling, we suddenly decided that we would stay in Darjeeling that night. It is not a good idea to shift a group of fourteen to fifteen people to a hotel according to the budget at a few hours' notice in that peak season. She did the job by standing at Soma Mall and making a phone call. Congratulations Desi Journey. I want to travel again.
